Where to start Lol..

1. Is there anyway to increase the brightness of the m.2 LiveDash, I have been searching for ages..

2. Thunderbolt drivers all loaded, top one at the rear works (but not correct speed). The top front panel connector not working, but bottom USBc one does? Top USB 3 header not working either.. I have got pcie cable in the header for power to the Thunderbolt connectors..

3. Can't get anything sound from the rear audio, if I pull out the speaker cable I get crackling through speakers, so there is power there.. Why are there no Audio drivers on the support download page?

This is a really expensive board, so you would think it would at least work properly..

Done the bios update a while back, still the same after..

The main thing I'm wanting is the sound to work, unknown USB device (Device descriptor Request Failed)  Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) looks like that has something to do with sound, Asmedia USB 3.20 eXtensible host controller, the second Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub has (Device settings for USB\VID_0451&PID_8140\6&c1a2e2f&1&7 were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match). 

I am thinking those parts could be faulty and they are the USB Audio?

Just looked further in Device Manager...

I also have these ones:

1. Intel(R) USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 (Microsoft)..Device settings for PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1138&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00\a&2f87d499&0&001000000010000A were migrated from previous OS installation. USB root Hub (USB 3.0)

2. USB root Hub (USB 3.0) Device settings for USB\ROOT_HUB30\b&2402c867&2&0 were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match.

3. USB root Hub (USB 3.0) Device settings for USB\ROOT_HUB30\9&1db7ce14&3&0 were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match.

Strange thing is all of them say in general, This device is working properly.

Sorry to hear we're not making any progress.

It seems to be a USB issue, but I'm not exactly sure what's causing it. It says it doesn't need any specific drivers so maybe reinstalling windows could fix it.

Had a windows 11 update yesterday and I had an entry appear in Device manager under Audio inputs and outputs, I have researched it (Audio Endpoint) so far I can't work out weather to delete or leave it?

Device ROOT\MEDIA\0001 was configured.

I don't see that entry in my device manager, but it could be something specific to your motherboard or speakers.

 Did it help with getting your speakers working?

Does your speakers show under Audio Inputs and Outputs? My ROG Delta S Animate shows there.

I have the following:

1. 4 - LG ULTRAGEAR (AMD High Definition Audio Device)

2. AI Noise-Canceling Microphone (ASUS Utility)

3. AI Noise-Canceling Speaker (ASUS Utility)

4. Audio Endpoint

5. Capture Input terminal (AC Interface)

6. Virtual Speaker (ASUS Utility)

That is all I have listed.. All standard USB external port are working fine too.

If I plug in my S21 Ultra in the Thunderbolt 4 rear connector, the one not working my phone says Device not supported..

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G doesn't natively support thunberbolt, but it does support usb-c. 

Are you saying your speakers aren't detected under Audio inputs and outputs?

Yes , I know it doesn't support TB, but at least I know there is power to the port.

I plugged in a standard good quality USBc cable in and got the not supported which I expected.

But no charging of the phone, which I didn't expect?

I think, I will just have to take the motherboard out and strip it, so I can get a good look at it and check the metal back plate isn't shorting anything..

I have spent days trying to sort it out, never been beaten by something like this before LOL..

Before stripping your pc down, I'd check if the charging port on your phone is ok, maybe try charging it on another pc to confirm this.

Phone charges fine from other USB's..

Thanks for all your suggestions Nate, I do think it's hardware problem now..
