Please note that in order to have this BIOS update fix the sensor issues, you need to only use software which relies on our new interface. I'll try to compile a list of what's safe at a later time.

I'm looking into the issues with graphics cards only running at x8, got nothing concrete yet.

OP updated, time to play with this bios

This has been a known issue with Corsair. It's not an ASUS specific issue since it still happens on the Z370 Gigabyte boards.

Respectfully, if that's the case then why does it only occur on some BIOS, but not other? The Corsair hardware remains the same, the software remains the same, Windows et al. remains the same, the only thing that's changed are the BIOS. I appreciate the problem being limited to Corsair products, but the fact remains that it's something ASUS is changing that causes the problem to crop up.

So what should I do? Because for the time being the only solution I can think of it just to continue not updating my BIOS until ASUS does something different. =/

Updated bios and now my PC shows Q Code AA... Is this good or bad?

Been having these issues since the last 2 or 3 Bios updates and subsequent AMD chipset drivers. Nothing's been changed since the system was built, can't even reinstall windows off of removeable media. If anyone has experienced similar please let me know.

Version 2304

ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO BIOS 2304
1. Update AM4 ComboPI 0.0.7.2A for next-gen processors and to improve CPU compatibility

2. Fixed an issue with Precision Boost values

3. Improved memory compatibility

4. Enhance system security
ASUS strongly recommends installing AMD chipset driver 18.50.16 or later before updating to this BIOS version.

" Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (C7H.CAP) using BIOSRenamer.''

So i update the chipset drivers and then bios.. how about fresh windows installs after that? Can't update chipset before bios then. I had issues with this on a B-350f i have. Had lockups and windows wouldn't load up sometimes either after a fresh install. That board is pretty unusable at the moment (no oc involved and i did try multiple times to get windows installed). I have C7H now and i am a bit worried the same will happen again in the future when i decide to install windows again.
I know there are "unofficial" ways to roll back on a bios version, but that shouldn't be needed. Anyone tried a fresh install after updating bios to most recent?

I can't say I have since the suggestion to use 18.50.06 or later. I have reinstalled my gpu drivers which also uninstalls the motherboard chipset drivers and had no issues on a currently installed windows 10.

In regards to 2304 bios, my ram timings that have been working since x800 bios revisions no longer work. I have a samsung bdie 3600 kit which ran 3466 C16 timings. Strangely after the update i can no longer run my c16 timings, i loaded the stilts 3466 samsung bdie 1.4v profile and upped the voltage to 1.5v and its working so far. running mem test (currently 0 errors).

So beware memory timings may be an issue.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll wait on updating then. Will re-visit this when the new cpus come available.

With this BIOS I can set my RAM at target speed (3600 CAS 16) for the first time.
