Please note that in order to have this BIOS update fix the sensor issues, you need to only use software which relies on our new interface. I'll try to compile a list of what's safe at a later time.

I'm looking into the issues with graphics cards only running at x8, got nothing concrete yet.

I can see PBO options and pstate controls.

The motherboard is still having issues detecting the corsair usb attached devices. Namely PSU and Water cooling AIO, kind getting annoying now as the new ryzen chips are dropping soonish and we can't simply just rollback anymore to a prev working version if we intend to upgrade.

I believe last working version was 0803.

I got an RM850i PSU and an H115i Pro RGB connected on the mobo and they're being detected as they should. Using BIOS v1201.
The Corsair driver USBXp is installed and working.

It is not the motherboard...but corsair. This has been a long ongoing problem with their stuff...namely USB AIOs and PSU. Check out their official forums. What always worked for me is power down the PC, and disconnect the cable for 5 mins..plug it back in and boot up for my AIO corsair coolers.

Corsair just updated iCUE, but I'm not interested in trying the latest bios again. The most recent didn't work for me, so I'm still on 0803. It's kind of extremely inconvenient to unplug the USB and all that, at least for me and where my computer is.

Somebody let me know if the latest iCUE fixes it, okay?

Updated to latest corsair software, not working. Pretty sure it's different to the standard unplug corsair cable try another header etc. Those instances from memory never find a usb device in device manager.

This issue since 1001ish finds the USB device but fails to initiate it with a device descriptor error. I belive this issue falls to asus to correct. If rolling back the bios, it works flawlessly, with that said if it was the common usb issue people have suggested then intermittent experience would be seen on 0803 too. Further more, no amount of restarting, powering down or cable swapping will get the usb device to register on 2103.

I'm sure some of the earlier people in this thread can attest to the fact it's a bios issue and not the same general usb ghost issues you get from time to time with corsair products.

Seriously this has been a problem of Corsair. It does not only happen on this motherboard but others both AMD and Intel. It has been an issue for years now. End users have found various work arounds. Corsair has been aware of this for years but never actually fixed it. Just look at their official forums. This is not something that Asus or any other board manufacturer can fix...Corsair has to fix it.

Hey Needsnurfing, thank you for testing that out and letting me know. I'm sure you can appreciate how tiring it is to update the bios, update my settings, log into Windows, try fixing the problem there for the hundredth time, download the old bios since I can't fix it, to USB flashback, update my settings since they didn't save properly, log back into Windows, wait another month for new bios. As you said, this is the third or fourth bios put out with this specific problem, and I'm tired of being ASUS beta tester.

Anyway, thanks again for going the extra mile, I appreciate it!

OP updated, time to play with this bios

This has been a known issue with Corsair. It's not an ASUS specific issue since it still happens on the Z370 Gigabyte boards.
