Take Said file and put in driver folder (Win64) you download from necacom then run setup.exe
Just repeat that everytime a new driver comes out. (Check Necacom They update alot)

Sonic Studio 3 and Sonic Radar 3 not work with the drivers. Microsoft update catalog reltek drivers are missing the code for it to work.

Install Guide Catalog Realtek Drivers: Extract Rar - Go to Device Manager (Windows key + R devmgmt.msc Enter - under sound, video and game conteoller (4th From Bottom click drop down) - double click Realtek High Definition Audio - Driver Tab - update driver (Button) - Browse My compter for driver software - clcik browse and find the extracted folder from earlier, select it single click press ok (Button) - click next - pop up click install - click ok - reboot.

For spdif optical cable 5.1 surround dts interactive and Dolby digital live also dolby pro logic 2 shows no idea if it works.
also the drivers are signed

Steps to install
uninstall old drivers reboot
0. Run Asussetup.exe

1. message pop twice - click ok both - Just Trying to install sonic studio - and sonic radar - stop em from installing you have to do manual if you want.

2. when cmd disapear shortly after clicking ok - reboot
3. open realtek hd audio manager - click defualt tab - click the button dts and dolby a few times - Nothing Change - Reboot Again


4 step 3 will now work

The one above from asus Version 6.0.1.8339 still has dts disabled missing in gui.

I've been using unlocked drivers from the Techpowerup forums for years since there was no DTS Interactive/DDL support in any of their official drivers for my Z97 Deluxe on Win10. I finally ran into an issue I couldn't avoid... My first AAA game, Far Cry 5, that won't start because NOINTEGRITYCHECKS and NOINTEGRITYCHECKS were both turned off on my gaming rig ..due to it's new anti-cheating subsystem. I searched online, there's at least one other game that also checks for this.

Luckily, I stumbled upon your forum thread. After uninstalling my old unlocked audio driver, rebooted, and installing the latest Asus Realtek driver in the Microsoft Catalog (listed in the OP of this forum thread), whalaa! I no longer needed NOINTEGRITYCHECKS and NOINTEGRITYCHECKS to be turned off or disabling Protected Audio in the registry.

I would gladly donate for Lord Chunks to mainain a working list of the latest signed Asus/Realtek audio drivers which include DTSi/DDL (and Dolby Prologic II processing for stereo sources).

Big THX! I wish i can donate this ^.^. Is it possible to get DTS NEO or have my AVR to suppot this to get DTS NEO? My AVR: Harman Kardon AVR 270. When i set to DTS Interactive all Musikfiles plays in Stereo (thats not bad!) but i wish i can hear my music on all my 6 laoudspeaker like DD Pro Logik 2 it does. When i set to XXBit XXHz my AVR play Music in DD Pro Logik 2. so i have to manual switch eatch time Game(DTSi)=> Musik(XXbit/XXHz). this wont happen with DD NEO i think, i dont know.

enables dolby home theater (Dolby Pro Logic II) then music should play as 5.1


looking at your avr manual n specs
no support for DTS NEO so the connect tab might not work.

I have registered only to say thank you ;)! You saved my onboard audio, I was one and a half step before buying an audio card in March :cool: Too bad for Asus they gone down the road before my eyes. We buy premium mobos especially those ROG ones and we cannot enjoy their maximum audio potential. Pure disrespect to customer.

That is really lame man. If I pay $350 for an Asus motherboard that advertises itself as having premium audio then it should include basic audio technologies. I'll be going with Gigabyte in the future if Asus doesn't step up their audio game.

I agree! There is nothing premium about the audio for this board using the stock Asus drivers. When you factor all of the bugs and BIOS issues with this board, premium is one of the last words that comes to mind. I am looking at a Gigabyte X470 when they come out in late March or April hoping for a better experience than I have had with the Crosshair VI Hero.
