I have another report on false temps after sleep. This causes all fans to spin up and makes the PC very noisy. In my case, a reboot always fixes the problem. My normal idle temps are 35c and load is 51c. After sleep, my idle becomes 51c. I am on 1501 bios with latest AI Suite.

I have the same problem as this. Bios 1501.

BTW, Your blurry CAPTCHA is a pain where I poop from.

You sure you're not a robot?

Don't be so harsh, they need free labor, people to digitalize their stuff. Oh no I'm not talking about ASUS.

hi guys, when will they fix the error with the 55 post code? from the purchase itself, this mistake simply torments me and has not been repaired so far, how much longer can I wait? This problem often occurs when the computer is turned off for a long time (hours 5-8). cpu ryzen 1700x, ram kingston predator 3200, rx 480.
bios 1501.

Ever since July or June, my PC WILL NOT stay shutdown or stay asleep. I have turned off all timers in power management n stuff but nothing. In Event Viewer, it says the wake up sources are random as listed: Power Button, Unknown, ASMedia USB3.1 eXtensible Host Controller (ASM1143), and S4 Doze to Hibernate. ASUS customer service isnt much help either when I called them. They said that Host controller isnt an issue and havent heard any issues about it being the cause and that I am the first one. They suggested that an RMA isnt needed and is probably more on the Windows 10 side. I never had this restarting issue so much on my other setup with AMD FX series. I have yet to call Windows customer service to help on this. A full reformat may fix this but I am trying not to.

To get an idea of what im facing, this guy on youtube is having the exact problem as me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DF2-NZocOjo

I will try the battery again but for 30 minutes at another time. Any help is much appreciated. Idk if this is bug related or not. Please :'(.

Problem is in the image above.

I really don't understand these voltage readings.

Do I need to apply more voltage in order to get the values I want or is it just the reading that is wrong?

Is there a fix for this?

Thanks

Do you have Samsung Magician installed (if so, uninstall, then re-check and re-post). What does "powercfg -lastwake" tell you?

I have Corsair Vengeance LPX Ryzen 16GB (2x8gb) CMK16GX4M2Z2666C16 ram. When I use SPD settings, the bios sets the memory to work at the correct speed; but after a restart, I went into the bios and noticed the bios has set the voltage at just over 1.35v instead of 1.2v.

When I use D.O.C.P. Standard, the ram runs at its correct voltage (well, a bit over, at more like 1.243v) and speed and timings, so I use D.O.C.P. Standard instead of SPD. I am using DIMM_A2 and DIMM_B2 slots.

This behavior repeated itself thrice with the official 1701 bios and thrice with the test 0052 bios.

I have noticed that when I put my pc to sleep and later wake it on the temperature reading on TMPIN0 in hwmonitor is 20°C above normal level. Normally my average cpu temp is about 30°C on idle. But after waking from sleep(no hibernation - hibernation works fine) the temp is about 50°C. I think it's board issue. I have 1701 bios.

Ryzen 1700 - 1701 bios.

Manual and auto overclock work fine.

4 x 100 = 4Ghz Ram at 3200 cl14 works like a charm

PROBLEM ->

Stuck at x15.5 multiplier if offset + is over 0.225.

Cheers

It is supposed to be fixed in beta 0052 bios.
