Latest beta bioses

  • 1001 (DRAM 1T mode) Restore defaults before flashing, or use USB BIOS Flashback.
  • 0038 (DRAM 2T mode) Same as 1001 but DRAM set to 2T mode, better on some systems.
  • 0902 First viable bios for C6H. Superseded by 1001 & 0038.

Trident memories seems to be a good choice 😃

yes, it overclock very well and very stable ) and looks fantastic. My RAMkit is more stable at 53.3 Ohm, than 60.

Hi elmor,

could you update your google input sheet?
I achieved 3632 Mhz, but i cannot enter a different value in the sheet.

Thanks a lot.

I can’t boot my system anything below 96ohm.. this is the best for duel rank gskillTz 16x2 3200c14 kit ?*

surprised your circuits haven't melted at 96ohm's.

I agree with GSkill as the best ram to use with Ryzen, it's NOT the Trident, it's the FlareX. I have used both, and the FlareX runs much faster and much cooler on my system. I have 32gb's of the FlareX 3200C14, running it at 3466mhz on 16,16,16,18,36.

Hello

Why is that? 96 Ohm or greater impedance will have absolutely no detrimental effect other than affecting stability if that chosen setting is not correct.

janky update 1403 - which i got purely to fix the temperature offset and which was listed as a final on the support site - has broken the ability to run at anything past 2133mhz. even if i set it to run at 3200mhz it just runs at 2133mhz. i have no hope of even running it at 3466mhz - which i was through bclk oc on the previous bios - because then it just freezes at either code 15, or code 19, or for some reason a8 when there's no password set. i've had it installed for a week or so now, and not only can't i roll back to the previous bios 1201 - which worked with regard to everything except the temperature offset - but the qfan settings don't appear to work either. no matter what the cpu temperature the fans stay at 25% pwm. if i try the beta then nothing changes but my cpu temperatures increase.

i hunted high and low to find the right samsung b-die that the asus aura software wouldn't wipe the spd information from. when i found it, it worked at its rated speed and latency despite having to use bclk, and my system was super stable. now it's so broken it's not even worth planning to use it. it's worse because it worked and then asus somehow managed to break it and remove all ways of letting me fix it by going back to the old config. and i've just spent 90m sitting here and watching a variety of qcodes appear that don't help me solve any problems at all.

i'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is the last asus anything i ever buy. breaking my ability to run my memory at the rated speed is the final straw. i've never had more problems and such poor support. pretty much current state of affairs is that a bios you can't roll back that breaks my ability to run fast memory effectively shredded $200. it took me a long time and a lot of effort calling stores to find the corsair vengeance in samsung b-die - not to mention that i had to do this because asus aura wipes the spd information from g.skill rgb ram and i went through two sets of ram before i figured it out. and right now i could have bought 2133mhz ram for $200 less and not have these problems.

this is still the most expensive board on the market. your update broke it; i can still return it.

I have just ordered these beauty's: http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/dominator-platinum-se-torque-32gb-2x16gb-ddr4-dram-3200mhz-c14-memory-k...

However I hope they will run at 3200, my current ones rated at 2667 run perfectly, I was given some pennies from my family, so I thought why not. I have had no issues so far!

Hello, I've ordered a 2700x with a CH6, can you recommend a ram kit that will work with this combination and probably be able to OC in the future?

p.s damn I need to post more often

Hello community,

guess, I need some advice and hope, somebody has a clue.
My problem with the RamOC is, that I'm stuck with memory voltage at 1,330v. SoC voltage also not changing.
I set memory at 1,355v in the bios, but its stuck, as I wrote, at 1,330v, SoC set to 1,05v, stuck at 1,00v
With every bios I ever used. Two days ago, I updated to 7201but its still the same.
Only voltage, what is changing, is Vcore (1,325v @ 4,0ghz)

Using 2x 16Gb Dominator Platinum 3466 and the 1800x
OC settings manual
Voltages set manualy again.

Posted this at the Bug-Threat aswell, but no answer so far.

Would be awesome, if I could get some help.
Thank You!

Hope, y
Greetings
