Clean install or use old files when installing Crosshair VII

Hey Guys

I currently have a Crosshair V Formula with a AMD Phenom II x6 CPU, Corsair 16gb DDR3 ram, and AMD R9 390 Sapphire Nitro.

I am upgrading to the Crosshair VII Hero with the Ryzen 2600 CPU, Team Dark Pro 16gb DDR4 3200 ram, using same R9 390 Graphic card.

Since this is my first major upgrade other than hard drives I had a question about my software (Lightroom, Microsoft Office, Steam, drivers, etc)and operating systems. I have read both sides of using my current windows 10 or doing a format and fresh install.

Those of you that upgrade frequently what do you do/recommend. Should I do a clean install, or follow the procedures such as deactivation and linking my accounts then reactivating after installing my hardware.

clean install and on windows account, the license that you have link on your account with the old hardware delete so the new hardware can be use, wish number you add on insulation. For me that is preferable for a mayor upgrade.

I'd do a clean install for sure. 🙂
