It is bloody pathetic how Asus is left behind releasing bios.

It is not only that Asus reputation in bios is just below 0, it is also the possible consumers that are not going to buy an Asus motherboard anymore including me.

I have a x470 and I had today the ABB bios while almost all the others x470 had it since weeks, second most expensive x470 and its support is pathetic

Please Asus make us believe in you again

Maybe they want tp push X570, so more people buy those boards, but the majority ist using X370/470.
I bought 2 ASUS CH Boards (6+7 WIFI), because of the great Community and Support espescially Elmor/TheStilt etc and i had many many ASUS Products before including GPUs and other Boards. I am not happy at all, and i regret it, because you already wrote why. I am active on many many Forums, including some english speaking forums and many german and guess what, people are not happy at all with their ASUS Boards, whats driving me crazy is apart from the lack of communication and late BIOS updates is, that the Board is so slow in booting up (UEFI mode Windows Install). The components ASUS uses are very good, but guys come on, thats not everything, dont leave us behind and communicate at least, you can release the BIOS as the slowest among the other manufactures, but please talk to us. You want happy customers i guess, dont think because of only handful people here writing that many users are happy, i can assure you, they are not. Is it to difficult for a MEGA Company like ASUS to hire one person here who says, everything will be fine my little childrens, you only have to sleep a couple days more until the BIOS is coming 😄

its like the new bios will give you 100% performance boost, its just 100+- Mhz that will not make any difference in real world performance rather than little in benchmarks, so just wait for a proper tested bios instead of a rushed buggy one.

i bet if you got the buggy or beta one now like MSI/Gigabyte, you will come back complaining about it and saying they should've taken the time to properly test it before release.

1001 for the Crosshair VIII hero is available on the motherboard's main page. Check Software/driver update under other O/S if its not in the expected places.

now available for X570 Gaming-F, downloading now.

Edit: still not hitting 4.4 on single core, max i saw 4350

I have a 3900x and a ASUS Strix X570-E and still not hiting the 4,6GHz with Abba, only the 50MHz up, from 4,375 to 4,425

I am still waiting official BIOS from Asus, rather would not experiment with beta.

Currently, with my 3900x, max short time boost I have ever seen is 4500Mhz, but typically boost (only on 1-2 best cores) between 4.425 and 4.475GHz (other cores 25-50MHz less), with vid of 1.5v. All core load in real and benchmarking apps is typically between 4.1 and 4.2GHz (only 4.0GHz on prime95 smallfft even CPU is cooled with big air Noctua cooler)

New beta bios with ABBA for Prime X470-Pro(and X370-Pro) available on hardwareluxx.de:

https://cloud.asustreiber.de/s/L3CFKKATBfaPp85

https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f12/ultimative-am4-uefi-bios-agesa-ubersicht-12-09-19-a-122890... )

It's not a mod bios, it's a beta provided by Asus Germany.

Performance is indeed better for my 3700X on a Prime X470-Pro, but PBO doesn't work, only Auto OC does. 4417MHz on three cores, and just noticed 4442MHZ on one while typing this.

We all spend extra money on high end motherboards but don't get any updates support!!! ASUS STRIX X470-F cost less what we pay for and they get Audio & Lan and other drivers more up to date then our C7H & C7H (Wi-Fi) what we spend our money for!!! I check on there website and they can not supports any latest driver support for our systems!! I been with Asus for a long time now and notice this over the years I been with them!!! Might have to change company like MSI always up to date on their systems!! I could say more but this is all for now!!! Just think about guys before we purchase something we can not get support from Asus!!

1003ABB:
-Windows 10 single core boost: 4275MHz
-CB 20 single core boost: 4225MHz
-Games are running at 4200-4275MHz on all cores, independent of load. Max. clock difference between cores is 25MHz.

1003ABBA:
-Windows 10 single core boost: 4550MHz
-CB 20 single core boost: 4450MHz
-Games are running at 3700-4500MHz. Cores boost independent of each other (500ms intervals). Max. clock difference between cores is several hundred of MHz. Some games seem to run ~3-4% faster on average. Sometimes with improved lows/frametimes, sometimes with less stable frametimes.

MSI is actually way behind in the latest ABB/ABBA bioses, Gigabyte is about on par with Asus. You don't know what you're talking about.
