B550M BIOS update - GPU error (beeps and LED), but works OK

Hi, I made first BIOS update of my B550M plus (wifi) motherboard (CPU ryzen 3600). GPU is GF 3060 (12GB) also from Asus. All was ok until BIOS update. Soon after start, 2 beeps and GPU Q-LED is shining (only sleep and wake up turn it off). Beside this, everything is working like before. No GPU problems.

I tried to turn off fastboot, took GPU out, cleared slot, card, return it, did reset on MB. I tried older BIOS version... Do you have similar experiences? Any ideas? Thanks.

Try to turn your monitor on, and wait 10 seconds, before starting your pc. If I turn my pc on, before my Samsung g8 oled, that's connected with dp, I get the same behavior. Something to do with the gpu not being able to sense a monitor connected to it, making it send an error to the motherboard.

Might not be the same problem you have, but worth a shot.

Hello,

I wouldn't be too concerned if the system is still functioning. Have you checked to see if there is a newer VBIOS for the GPU?

Sounds absurd, but it's genius! I have Samsung G series too and turning monitor on after starting PC. But not in case of waking up (which was ok). For now, it seems to by ok. Thank you (but I don't understand, why the problem started after bios update).

Silent_Scone: Yes, I have updatwd GPU BIOS - sorry, I forgot to mention that.
