Audio issues after EVERY Windows Update (Crosshair Hero VIII)

With the Crosshair Hero VIII WiFi, i have to reinstall audio drivers after every Windows update because they seem to break this motherboard every time.
It's not always as simple as installing the driver again, sometimes the audio will still sound bad after an update and driver install which requires further troubleshooting. It's becoming very time consuming to preform these actions anytime Windows decides to break my drivers again.

Is this a known or common issue with this motherboard?

I've never run across this - I let windows install it's audio driver and have not seen any issues after windows updates. Are you using default windows driver or audio drivers from the Asus site?

I used the drivers directly from ASUS site, and Windows seems to break them after every major update - usually once a month or so.
