Asus X870-E Extreme Detection Memory Issue

Hello everyone,

Recently i upgrade my custom loop with as Asus X870-E Extreme motherboard and 9950X3D.

My Ram is G-Skill Z5 RGB 6000mhz CL26. Upgraded to the latest BIOS.

On booting or PC restart i've got memory detect message on the Motherboard's screen as you see. This is happening with EXPO I activated and with bios default settings. If i keep the PC open after a minute is bootking normally.

I've tried to reseat Rams and doing same thing. OCCT mem test passed without errors and same with MemTest86.

Any idea what is wrong or maybe because the motherboard is new some glitch maybe?

Thanks in advance

Hi @pan_theo91

That looks like a Direct-Die CPU block. You may want to check the mounting pressure and inspect the CPU again.

EDIT: Sorry, I've not read the entire post - still too early here 😅

If the system completes POST, it's likely just memory training. If I misunderstand, perhaps take a video of what happens when you first power on the system.

Maybe yes or a glitch in the system, never happened before. I assume a bios update will fix it since its a new Motherboard

Initial memory training can take upward of 15 minutes depending on the memory configuration.
