ASUS TUF GAMING B550M Plus- White Light

Greetings, I have been dealing with a really weird & an annoying issue specifically with the B550M-PLUS TUF Gaming Wifi II.

(I bought it brand new 3 days ago)

Occasionally, on startup the motherboard will emit 1 long beep followed by 3 short beeps and the white light LED will stay on after booting. After researching on the web, it turns out that its a GPU related issue. However, it will boot as normal without any issues but the white LED indicator will stay on throughout the operation. I’ve just discovered that if you unplug the hdmi cord and turn the PC on, the white led indicator lights up on the Mobo and the beep codes will sound. Well and good. I figured that out. When you plug it back in, the white LED indicator will not turn on and no beep sounds will be heard.

However, after replugging the HDMI cable correctly I’m still randomly having this issue upon booting (occasionally). I have tried reseating the GPU, re-installing the driver, replugging PCI-E cable, clearing cmos , installed latest BIOS version but it still happens. Could this be a false positive? Is there a setting i’m missing in the BIOS?

Please bear in mind that the system runs normally, voltages and temperatures are considered to be in the recommended operating ranges.

My specs are:

Ryzen 5 5600X

MSI VENTUS 2X RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6

Gigabyte 256GB NVME SSD

Teamgroup 1TB SATA SSD

ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-PLUS

Seasonic Focus GX 650

Stock AMD air cooler

Kingston Fury Beast 16GB 3200mhz DDR4

Thanks in advance

Might be related to your monitors power status. I get the same white light and beep code, but only if I power my pc on, before my samsung G8 oled. From what i understand it's because the gpu, and therefor the motherboard, fails to recognise a monitor being connected. I'm using displayport, and not hdmi though.
