Asus Strix X470-F Gaming owners thread

Hello guys, I am starting this thread for all Stix X470-F owners to discuss their overclock settings, issues etc. So that everyone get help quickly in a organised way. Installed my old 1600x in this mobo with 4011 bios and flareX 3200 with default docp and it works just fine without any issues so far. One thing to mention The board pushes 1.15v soc default docp profile. Is it normal seems a bit high for me as I have upgraded from B350-F gaming.
However a small issue I believe, the asus lighting control is not behaving normal. I mean just after login to windows it is taking a bit time to start (5min) before that if I try to on Lighting Control by clicking it, program crash window appears after few seconds. But when it starts on it's own then I can open asus lighting control. Anyone experiencing similar issue???
Also tried to use older version.

Sometimes when I restart PC all fans connected to this motherboard go 100% until Windows start and load fan software? Is it normal? If not, any way to fix it? It's not happening every time I restart the PC but sometimes. Hard to tell when and why as it's behaving like that more randomly.

No one? My sister man is experiencing it also, but his motherboard is a B-450 STRIX E-Gaming

I've just updated chipset drivers on my X-470 STRIX F-Gaming to the newest, but I'm experiencing some hacking since that. Like lags on my desktop, impossible to work sometimes, hacking sound, hearing scratches and distortions Sometimes, because a restart will always fix it. I'm running 5204 BIOS.
Do you all good there? What can I do to fix it? I've seen a non working SM Bus Controller Code 28 device in Device Manager. I've tried to update the driver from Windows Update but as always, nothing has been found. Everything was good before and I've marked a clean install of chipset drivers while updating... even my Radeon drivers has been uninstalled...

This is the latest build of chipset driver.

Hello everyone, I have a very strange problem for 6 months, I have tried everything and nothing solves it, I do not know if someone else happens and it is only in 2 programs that use 1 and 2 threads and PBO, I suppose it is a stability problem, I do not know if hardware or software, I have tried to increase voltages, put everything in stocck, update drivers, bios, windows, etc. and nothing solves it, the problem is that crysis and unreal tornament 99 are closed ramdomly, there is no Windows error message, no blue screenshots, the application simply closes, I know that the topic is a bit out of place, but if it is not the case I have:
Ryzen 2600X
Strix X470-F Gaming
GTX 1070TI
32GB Ram Adata spectrix D40 @ 3000mhz
2 SSD: Adata S40G OS and sx8200pro for gaming
Cooler Master G750M 80+ Bronze Power Supply

No overclock for components

Thanks in advance.

So, when on gods green earth are we going to get a bios update for this board. I see all the other Strix x470 and B450 boards and the C7H have got theirs... Where's the love for our beloved x470-f ????

Do you have a dedicated sound card on your system?

This new BIOS v.5601 starts like a rocket, but my 3700x boosts much less.
Previously I had 4500MHz on one core, and at least on 3 other cores 4350MHz.
Now I cannot see boosts over 4300 on the best core.
This with the same settings as with BIOS v.5406.
I need to experiment now over again...

But hey, Last BIOS time is 9.0 sec!

worth it on 2700x going from 4804 to v5601 for performance, says there are changes, is anyone with a 2700x running this version?
i know you will lose pe3 and pe4 on 4804 and up

v5601

I'm using a 2700X w/out O/C with the 4804 BIOS, which I rolled back from 5406 because of the problematic and dangerous fan issues (random zero or full rpms) while using AIDA64.
Now, the only -minor- issue I'm facing is the poor/bad power savings of the CPU (not reducing its MHz) when returning from sleep after a WoL.
I'm not in the mood or not having the time to try 5601 BIOS and see if these issues exist or not, as my system seems as stable as I want.
If anyone who also had these issues seems to be more patient and give 5601 a try, a feedback in this thread will be more than welcomed and respectful.

No problems so far, everything remains the same, the problem of the fans has never happened to me, and I put them from the bios to (system 40% maximum), (cpu 80% maximum) and I do not have that nonsense acceleration problem ., I have a hyper212 evo, and Aer RGB fans in a very spacious NZXT phantom 630 cabinet.
