Asus Strix X470-F Gaming owners thread

Hello guys, I am starting this thread for all Stix X470-F owners to discuss their overclock settings, issues etc. So that everyone get help quickly in a organised way. Installed my old 1600x in this mobo with 4011 bios and flareX 3200 with default docp and it works just fine without any issues so far. One thing to mention The board pushes 1.15v soc default docp profile. Is it normal seems a bit high for me as I have upgraded from B350-F gaming.
However a small issue I believe, the asus lighting control is not behaving normal. I mean just after login to windows it is taking a bit time to start (5min) before that if I try to on Lighting Control by clicking it, program crash window appears after few seconds. But when it starts on it's own then I can open asus lighting control. Anyone experiencing similar issue???
Also tried to use older version.

Guys what version of audio drivers you use? It's seems Version 6.0.1.8666 is crazy bugged. Sometimes just no sound from headphones, only power-off, and power-on helps sometimes. Other that's was on website some time ago(20200826R) was without this troubles, but Realtek Audio Console doesn't work.

it seems that the "Vermeer" likes clock more than latency...

So what's up with the FSB frequencies?

These people have it at 100 MHz:
Mr. Sunshine (3700X)
Barktoothx (5600X)
pedrozun (3600X)
Faster (5800X)

And me (3600) and jowdyboy (2700X) have only 99.8 MHz.

Is 100 MHz exclusive to Zen 2 starting from 3600X and all Zen 3, while 3600 and all previous Zen are stuck at 99.8 MHz by design or what?

My CPU-Z shows 99.8 mhz too, only in the AIDA64 Benchmark shows 100Mhz on FSB

i had the same problem with my 2600x, someone posted a solution here i'll just quote it:

i found a way for me to get back 100MHZ bclk.
i used the EZ Tuning Wizard in the bios. after following the steps of the wizard, i had to restart the computer.
Now i have back 100MHZ bus clock. Bevor that i had 99.8MHZ.

The only obvious change of the wizard made, i noticed, was the cpu multiplier. I changed the multiplier back and i still have that 100MHZ bclk.

Hope that helps anybody else, too.

Aida64- 100mhz

I dont see a huge difference...99.8 rounds to 100 anyway.

For all who have this 99.8 etc and if you do not like that number you can do this:
In BIOS disable spread spectrum, then it will give you 100 or 100.1(sometimes) 😉 Also it must always off if you OC
Have a nice day.

Hello,
Can you please pinpoint it exactly where you found spread spectrum in strix x470-f bios, I checked and could not find that option.

Ai Tweaker \ Digi +VRM\ VRM Spread Spectrum - OFF
if Youtube shows me now correct video of BIOS

Im on C8H wifi so i have 2 lines of spread spectrum i disabled both (one is vrm spread spectrum and if I remember correctly other is SB spread spectrum)
