Asus Strix X470-F Gaming owners thread

Hello guys, I am starting this thread for all Stix X470-F owners to discuss their overclock settings, issues etc. So that everyone get help quickly in a organised way. Installed my old 1600x in this mobo with 4011 bios and flareX 3200 with default docp and it works just fine without any issues so far. One thing to mention The board pushes 1.15v soc default docp profile. Is it normal seems a bit high for me as I have upgraded from B350-F gaming.
However a small issue I believe, the asus lighting control is not behaving normal. I mean just after login to windows it is taking a bit time to start (5min) before that if I try to on Lighting Control by clicking it, program crash window appears after few seconds. But when it starts on it's own then I can open asus lighting control. Anyone experiencing similar issue???
Also tried to use older version.

I have a Z490-E Gaming board and my sound card (Essence STX) stops working when updating the BIOS to 2003/2004. Works perfectly fine when I go back to 1003. Anyone else experiencing issues with sound cards with these newer bios versions?

Anyone here tested the new betas ?, i read a lot of people rolled back to the latest stable because of increase temps with the new agesa

I have finally convinced myself to test the latest 5833 (from the 5809)
No issue so far. Concerning temps, idle temperature may be a bit higher indeed. High load temperature is the same.

Idle temps :
87612

FYI, I am using a 5950X CPU.

Using latests BIOS. Seems ok. Did notice cant set boost clock past 5025mhz on my 5800X(PBO 200mhz boost broke).

5809 BIOS
PBO boost
175mhz= 5025mhz
200mhz= 5050mhz
225mhz= 5075mhz
250mhz= 5100mhz
etc.

5833 BIOS
200mhz= 5025mhz
225mhz= 5025mhz
250mhz= 5025mhz
etc.

Went back to 5809. Latest BIOS(5833) very stable but feels like its lacking. Most Benchmark are tad lower(1-3%) on same settings. And like I said they messed up PBO on this Beta. Single thread performance is hurting most.

i upgraded to 5600X on X470F (BIOS-5809). most things work fine but i see some problems.
1. mouse movement is slow in BIOS (it is lagging).
2. in latest version of Ryzen Master, it doesn't show clock speeds (shows 0 Mhz).
3. also some CPU related graphs in MSI Afterburner are missing like CPU clock speed and CPU fan speed.
4. system information is not loading in AI Suit III. this is latest version downloaded from support page.
i updated BIOS to latest beta version (5833) but those problems still exist. latest AMD chipset driver is installed.

All these problems will be solved with the software update, in case of msi afterburner, you need the latest beta 4 to detect the sensors, remember that it is only 2 months old and many programs must be updated to be compatible, which You mention about the mouse, it also happened to me but with the last bios no!
