Asus Strix X470-F Gaming owners thread

Hello guys, I am starting this thread for all Stix X470-F owners to discuss their overclock settings, issues etc. So that everyone get help quickly in a organised way. Installed my old 1600x in this mobo with 4011 bios and flareX 3200 with default docp and it works just fine without any issues so far. One thing to mention The board pushes 1.15v soc default docp profile. Is it normal seems a bit high for me as I have upgraded from B350-F gaming.
However a small issue I believe, the asus lighting control is not behaving normal. I mean just after login to windows it is taking a bit time to start (5min) before that if I try to on Lighting Control by clicking it, program crash window appears after few seconds. But when it starts on it's own then I can open asus lighting control. Anyone experiencing similar issue???
Also tried to use older version.

I've got a few to add to the list:

Wake on LAN doesn't work properly. It will only work if the PC is in standby mode or hibernate. It should work from a normally powered off state (via the OS) as well.

Restarting seems to be inconsistent. Sometimes the PC will simply shut down the OS, but the fans will remain spinning and it will never complete the reboot cycle.

WoL works for me.

1. You need to disable Windows 10 Fast Startup in Energy Options
2. Power On by PCIe needs to be enabled in BIOS
3. Magic Packet Option needs to enabled in Device Manager (last Tab) on Intel NIC
4. "Enable PME" needs to be enabled in Device Manager on Intel NIC

That was the setting. Thanks. I read over this article to make sure I had it set up properly initially, but forgot about fast startup. I must have set that a long time ago on my previous PC and forgot about it because WOL always worked from any normally powered off state.

Addition:
- BCLK overclock (for example 101) locks multiplier (on 3700X - 36) no boosts!
- GPU ramp up the speed to 100% on boot.

I can't even set the BCLK above 100. The motherboard won't even recover from this normally. I have to clear RTC to get it to POST again.

i order 3700x i will get it next week ...
i am on bios ver 4804 should i get update to the last ver or stay on 4804 what the best ver for ryzen 3700x?

Btw, these kind of issues are specific to our board or all X470 (and maybe the newest x570 ?)

Oh that's good. Official Asus ABBA BIOS for X470 are slightly released.
