Asus Strix X470-F Gaming owners thread

Hello guys, I am starting this thread for all Stix X470-F owners to discuss their overclock settings, issues etc. So that everyone get help quickly in a organised way. Installed my old 1600x in this mobo with 4011 bios and flareX 3200 with default docp and it works just fine without any issues so far. One thing to mention The board pushes 1.15v soc default docp profile. Is it normal seems a bit high for me as I have upgraded from B350-F gaming.
However a small issue I believe, the asus lighting control is not behaving normal. I mean just after login to windows it is taking a bit time to start (5min) before that if I try to on Lighting Control by clicking it, program crash window appears after few seconds. But when it starts on it's own then I can open asus lighting control. Anyone experiencing similar issue???
Also tried to use older version.

When i install your pack in a clean windows install there is a lot of unknown devices and my USB ports stop working

Aside from graphics drivers, I honestly dont see a huge need to update much of anything else right now. Unless something isn't working it's just a lot of extra work for not much gain.

First try to disconect the PC from the internet because the Windows Update Tool Always try to put the Microsoft signed drivers.
Then try to install from the compiler...








As u can see on the images the Drivers are the right ones, please try to intall one by one from the installer or do all and restart because the Windows updater tool change them for the Microsoft signed and that could be your issue... :cool:

I madre a clean windows 10 install again without internet and the same is happening :(, can you send the links where i can get the drivers?

Realtek audio driver (HDA)

Intel ethernet LAN driver

If you care about asmedia usb 3.1 -> you can find it @ASUS support for our mobo

Is normal that when i install the chipset drivers it doesnt install SMbus driver and the sata driver?

I said before u need to install every single driver by hand, the AMD installer doesnt' do that work, the Windows Updater will install the Microsoft versions every time u update the system, thats why i said before I dont take any responsability If you miss some and cause BSD on your system, so u can use the compile to avoid any error but... U say it does not work for u, so can u try again with my exe file?

Tried again in win 10 1809 x64 clean install, even chipset drivers dont get installed
The older versión worked fine but the link is dead
