Asus Strix X470-F Gaming owners thread

Hello guys, I am starting this thread for all Stix X470-F owners to discuss their overclock settings, issues etc. So that everyone get help quickly in a organised way. Installed my old 1600x in this mobo with 4011 bios and flareX 3200 with default docp and it works just fine without any issues so far. One thing to mention The board pushes 1.15v soc default docp profile. Is it normal seems a bit high for me as I have upgraded from B350-F gaming.
However a small issue I believe, the asus lighting control is not behaving normal. I mean just after login to windows it is taking a bit time to start (5min) before that if I try to on Lighting Control by clicking it, program crash window appears after few seconds. But when it starts on it's own then I can open asus lighting control. Anyone experiencing similar issue???

Pretty decent. 21C ambient temperature inside an NZXT H440 case.

that's huge but as long you don't mind the size, weight and obstruction. have you tried to go manual overclocking or you're on auto settings

Aside from a few more points on Cinebench I don't see any improvement on this new Bios

Manual OC'ing seems pointless based on my extensive testing. I've tested manual OC'ing for about 3 days, with many many many different configurations. XFR/PBO does a better job, also much better thermals so I've left everything on Auto settings except for RAM, applied the DOCP profile of 3200MHz.

Yes, manual OC on the 2700x is pointless, you lose performance, and in my testing even with a 1,28 vcore at 4ghz you get almost the same temps as in auto.

I might try that. At Auto settings it's feeding the CPU 1.4v for 4GHz, I'll try 1.3v.

Dear friends, cam version 3.6.3 now able to save and launch settings after each boot up. However, the fan and pump speed not doing well with the curves and this is after setting them to tag to the cpu temp. Have sent a ticket to nzxt

bios 4018 is still on agesa 1.0.0.2, didn't notice much changes here either

I seem to be unable to adjust speed on pump 1(1A) when running AIO. Pump+(3A) header works fine. Anyone else noticed something similar?
