Asus rog x570 crosshair viii extreme

Looking at purchasing the Asus ROG x570 Crosshair Viii Extreme when it become available. Just wondering if the board is a 3 or 4 slot board for dual gpu's .Looking at the board , it does infact seem that it is 4 slot and would require the 4 slot Nvlink ( which is more commonly available) vs the Nvlink 3 slot that is as rare as a Unicorn.
Can anyone confirm??

did you end doing the 3090 NvLink on this board? Interested in the same - I have crosshair viii formula, which essentially has the same slots and a second 3090 gathering dust!

Yes...I have (2) ASUS RTX 3090 OC's with EK waterblocks and active backplates running with the NVLINK bridge without any issues.
