have tried changing many settings but never undervolting, I am getting the restarts on stock settings and OC settings, have tried multiple changes and still the problem persists, am back to bios version 3001 although I am still getting random restarts they are not as frequent as bios 3405, AMD community forums have many many Zen 4 users complaining of same issues although some are using different motherboards, I am of the conclusion it is a X570/ZEN4 compatibility issue

Are there any who have reported issues with the B550 in the AMD forums?.

bios 3405 has been the worse bios so far for me in regards stability, I am getting many random restarts using this bios, there is no pattern whatsoever, my pc restarts only when idle, I can game, stress test and benchmark fine, but when machine is on idle mode or very low cpu usage, I get random restarts, I have reverted back to 3001 and although I am still getting restarts they are fewer and far between, I have checked other motherboard manufacturer forums and it seems that the problem lies with idle cpu state, Gigabyte and MSI are all over this problem but it seems Asus are finding it hard to get a fix, beginning to regret getting this board, Ryzen Gen 4 has been out for a while now and Asus should have at least given users a stable fix for this problem

I've got the exact same issue. My system crashes so hard and fast that Windows cannot even write minidumps. The sytem reboots automatically even with automatic reboots disabled in Windows. It only happens when thes system is idle or under very low load. I can game, bench, stress test, not a single crash until the system idles again.

CPU: 3950x
Affected BIOS versions 3405 and 3602.

RAM on Auto, no crashes
RAM on D.O.C.P. 3600 MHz crashes all the time.

I reverted to 3001 and my system is stable again.

How's the new BIOS update? Should i flash it?

I'd say no if your system works fine right now, better wait a better one. This one did solve the problem with my PCI-E sound card not being recognized though

If you are overclocking using PBO and Curve Optimizer, it might worth a try since it contains a new version of AGESA BIOS. Given the feedback of other people in the forum though, you might encounter some stability issues even without overclock.

Personally, I am running with 3405 for two weeks now and I don't have any major complaints. Two best cores on 5900X still hitting 5.1 GHz with PBO on and CO set to -20 on all cores. Temperatures could have been better, however.

Help please I updated bios to the latest now i get vga error led and the code 02, reflashed back to 3001 still the same, reset cmos and removed battery. Please can anyone help thank you.

fixed had to connect a hdmi cable as it wanted to go into bios once i had saved reconnected display port lead and it boots to windows but you cannot go into bios with the display port cable.

You need to go into CSM settings and enable Legacy mode for PCIE and keep UEFI mode on everything else.
Everytime I reset my BIOS I have to plug in my old monitor with HDMI to even boot. It's 2021 and even with a 3090 I can't boot with Display Port, what a joke.

Currently i am on 3001, not sure if i should update or not.

Getting the GPU Error beeps code after upgrading to 3405. My machine still seems to be completely fine so it seems it's a false alarm but it doesn't happen on the last BIOS I had installed (2204).

Anyone know what might be causing it?
