My system seems a bit snappier and my cinebench score when up 88 pts:cool:. I was not having any USB issues so I can't say if that was fixed.

Also infos about temps would be nice 🙂 (especially 5800x users have temp issus)

This is tested with my 5800X.

So I did a test way back on Bios 3405 and 3602 and posted my results on page 70, ill post it below.

"I did a 4min run with R23 on the 3405 Bios with the following settings PPT 120W, TDC 80A, EDC 130A, vcore offset of 0.07500V and DOCP enabled and I got 14137 MC score.

Same test in the same conditions as above with 3602 Bios and got 14134 MC score, so its within margin of error for me with my settings, it seems no performance increase."

My results with 4002 on R23 is 14882 with the same settings in BIOS.

As for temps well I hit 70C but its winter now so the ambient temps are a lot cooler than when I did the previous tests, which was in summer. Although I have the same fan curves as previous temps too.

Ill see how the USB stability goes though.

[green rectangle] 2 USB always working, devices never disconnect.
all other USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A at the back plate are problematics, not used the Type-C yet.
all USB sent to my front panel are fine (2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2). I don't use the last 2x USB 2.0.

I usually connect mouse and keyboard to n° 1+2. Never had an issue.
I wish to use my Dell U2413H as USB 3.0 hub (as with my previous config). I connect there 1USB 3.0 key + 1 extern HDD 3.0 (full-time).
Disconnections are random, even with computer idle. It can happen 1x/hour or 3x/10seconds.
Also appear when no device connected to my screen.
It happened I had no problem during 1 complete week, no explanation. Then it came back after powered off and on my power supply.

I disabled the Global C-State Control without noticeable consequence.
PCI-E is still at gen4 as I use NVMe gen4
RAM at 2133MHz or 3600MHz without noticeable effect

I noticed more problems while connecting the devices after startup.
There are apparently some patterns to make it happen less, I cycle between them :
1/ quickly connect and disconnect my screen to n° 3 then 4 then 6 then 7 finally back to 3
2/ startup with a USB key 3.1 to n° 3 (today's solution) or any other dongle
3/ using port n° 3 and 5 look more stable
But I guess it's a placebo effect 🙂

No issue today, 4hours working.

Is that the ROG Strix X570-E Gaming by any chance?

I havent really noticed any disconnects with my USB devices, I havent heard anything notify me that they have been disconnected but I have wireless headphone and they are plugged into a USB slot at the back of the mobo and I do experience the audio popping and audio glitching but im unsure if its part of the USB issues.

Do you get a reconnection sound?

I have the same MOBO and have experienced this on mine but its very rare, I may get it at windows start up but I can honestly count on one hand the amount of times I heard the disconnect sound when using the PC and only after the initial loading of windows.
