For plug and play users it's all right to update, for those who like fine tuning and overclocking, since agesa 1203 AMD capped the performance, so lower temperature, just look at the overclock.net forum and you will have many reports. I'm on BIOS 4021 and everything working perfectly, TPM and mostly PBO+CO and 3733 C14.

Hello,
The latest bios for the ROG Strix X570-E Gaming is currently 4602, it's available from the ASUS Support Center.

I was feeling adventurous and took the plunge. Update from 3801 to 4602.
Can't say I notice much difference but time will tell.
I did set the curve optimizer (-20mv) off the main page, not the one buried deep, and tested various combinations of prime95 afterwards. System appeared stable. Booted back into proxmox (7.4) with all guests running. WIthin 20 minutes the system rebooted.
Decided not to mess with curve optimizer further, reset it back to default (auto). So far going on ~14 hrs of uptime with all guests running.
Perhaps the linux kernel ( 5.15.104-1-pve) exposes something that windows (11 enterprise) does not. Proxmox is set to use the "conservative" governor.

X570 low/high end boards are now considered old tech, it's just a case of waiting for the newer tech gets updated first and then onto the older stuff.
Just be patient, it could be this month, next month or in a few months.
