Hi,

Does anybody knows when there will be a new bios for this motherboard Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming.
The latest one is dated 2019-07-05, an there is nothing about which AGESA its using.

Good because I am having random reboots while playing FF14.

You didnt type your pc specs only blaming the bios is the cause of your problem.

You posting in the wrong forum also.

most likely is that your psu is bad.

I am very disappointed with Asus.
Every other manufacturer has updated their boards to Agesa 1.2.0.4 or newer.
I understand that the Strix E is end of line. However, it is still sold for over 300 euros in europe...
Increase prices but no customer support...
The next update will probably no longer be an asus board

Yes, but it only restarts when playing that game (not overheating). I ran some benchmarks on ram, CPU and GPU maxing them out and no crashes or restarts so I'm not convinced it's the PSU.

RM850
5800x
3080
Vengeance rgb pro ram running at 3600

Bios is all defaults except ram DOCP

Why does everyone just enable DOCP and think job done? DOCP is effectivley ASUS's name for XMP and XMP relates more to how memory timings are tuned for Intel processors than AMD . There are a raft of timings and sub timings in an XMP profile that do not suit AMD CPU/RAM setups which is why a guy called 1usmus created DRAM calculator.

You should turn off DOCP and either set your RAM's major timings (TCL, TRP etc.) manually, or use DRAM calculator to give you some pointers to timings that should work if your trying to overclock your RAM.

For info here's a link to an basic article on the tool:

And yet you have a problem with your PC, so humour me......turn off DOCP and set your RAM speed, timings and voltage manually. If I'm right your problem is fixed, if not you're in no worse position other than having spent 5 minutes in BIOS.

I set my ram speed and voltages according to this post https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?120064-Strix-X570-E-Gaming-Mobo-Hard-Reboot-with-DOCP-Enab... as I have the same ram, the docp timing is where it should be 18-22-22-42 (on ram stick). I will report back and post on the other thread if my PC restarts.

So I just had a random restart while playing Far Cry 6, I will just turn off DOCP and default the ram setting to see if I get another random restart.

I think there is one coming soon, they are just figuring some stuff out.
I hope they put out more updates, I seem to be having a problem with docp causing random restarts and I believe these problems started not long after bios 4021 came out.
