Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming Bios update?

Hi,

Does anybody knows when there will be a new bios for this motherboard Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming.
The latest one is dated 2019-07-05, an there is nothing about which AGESA its using.

The issue started on the day I updated the BIOS. It never happens under load, or benchmarking or gaming. It happens when I browse the web or do some light thing in Illustrator etc. I tried to increase RAM voltage, LLC etc. No effect at all. I run OCCT 8.1 with no issues. I play games with no issues...

I used to have similar issues when the system was new, but at one point they with a new BIOS release they stopped. The system was as solid as a rock. unfortunalty I cant go back, it does not allow me to install 2606.

Any advise for me? Thank you!

Got the same issue. I think something is buggy in AGESA code in regards to power distribution, I noticed my fan leds even turning off for a split second when it happened here. My system seems to respond faster and it doesn't shut down, but the graphics card looses signal and I get the error as I posted in my post above this one.

There is a good chance I'll roll back the BIOS and see if that fixes matters.


Update:

3603 Bèta is also still buggy as hell if the BIOS is the issue.

Couldn't roll back using EZ Flash as it says incorrect BIOS, even with the file I kept on a USB stick with which I flashen the board initially for Zen3 support. Which worked fine.

Now it is rolling back as I write this via Flashback. So let's pray that fixes it. I forgot which BIOS version it was on the stick... will update later.

If that doesn't fix it than I must assume PSU or faulty GPU, which is luckily a Evga with extended warranty.

Perhaps you should take a look at your RAM latencies in bios? When i set up my pc i had put incorrect latencies, and then when i looked on the support page for this memory i'd put latencies exactly as it was written and my system is very stable at 3200mhz.

Annoying isn't it? Just happnens out of no where. I can do 40 boots, then bam VGA light.

@Gorandroid: not necessarily, but it is highly adviced to "load optimal defaults" or "Reset CMOS" after a bios update. Fortunately it's very easy to activate XMP / DOCP profile of your ram to load again the good frequency/timings

anybody else notice that stealth mode is no longer working, even after changing in the bios it doesn't actually change and no longer works although sometimes it will change to aura only but never to stealth mode meaning all LED's are off

Had the same issue earlier. Aura Settings in Armory Crate oversteer bios (wierdly enough). Check there. Solved it for me.
Bios over 3k are not usable for me. Bricked my pc twice now and had to revert both times. Ram Subtiming OC not possible anymore since 1k bios. 3600 cl16 only doable with SOC on 1.1v (upper limit, probably not good for hardware...) etc...
Seems the most valuable feature on Asus board at this time is hardware bios flashback. Built all my pc's since 15 years on asus boards exclusivly. Next pc will not be asus powered anymore I supose...
