ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING BIOS 2812
"1. Update AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.1.0.0 Patch C
2. Improve system stability
3. Improve DRAM compatibility
Before running the USB flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (SX570EG.CAP) using BIOSRenamer"

Had a few instances of crashes with 2802 with FMax enhancer on....may have stabilized 2802 for now with no crashes recently but maybe this new BIOS is more stable from the get-go.

I would think twice before updating to a beta version. Possibly, there are still a few issues to smooth out and I am quite happy with 2802, it is quite stable so far. Still, you could share your impressions if it is working fine.

Btw, if anybody has installed one of the new Zen 3 CPUs, please, confirm whether they are running without problems with the latest BIOS versions. ASUS claim that they are supported since 2606 (which was released two months ago) but still...

Yes, as a standard practice, I don't usually use beta BIOS revs and just wait for a finalized version which are often available pretty reasonably soon after a beta release. Things seem pretty stable atm but if I run across another crash, I'll just disable the FMax feature and wait to see if a future revision of the BIOS can steady things. Was just noting that it's available and remarking about the potential stability improvement for any of the more aggressive types seeking to tackle any such issue with 2802.

I too would be interested to hear what others may experience with it!

Here I have big problems with 2802 BIOS. My PC just reset, from wake up, if don't do it exactly on wake up, do it after 30 secs max.
I try different video card and PSU and problem persist. Going back to 2606 fix my issue. I didn't understand what cause this problem.
Will give a try to beta 2812, as I think fix some issues in 2802 and may be my issue too.

I've had as well some random reboots and shut downs with the 2802 but I thought it was my PSU since it is like 4 years old now.
I've opened a support ticket with Asus and they tell me to load optimized defaults as this would solve this issue.
They think they are talking with people who have no knowledge of computers!
Anyway, I will refer them here to see I am not the only one!
I've flashed now the beta bios and Hope for no more crashes but to keep the extra performance!

Please tell the results 🙂 After work today will try BETA BIOS too. For me defaults settings don't solve anything, also different PSU and Video Card. I expect better BIOS to be published any time soon, after the BETA 🙂

I believe, that there is problem with BIOSes, I see asrock also in short time publish new BIOS, like Asus.

Well so far no random reboot or shutdown with the beta bios, also the score in CB20 has increased and I see more cores in my 3900x reaching the 4600 and now 3(before just 1) make it to 4625.1!
I don't know if this will fry my chip but so far it is far more stable than then 2802 and performs faster 🙂
I don't mind testing a beta bios, just wished Asus were giving us more often beta releases. Personally I do not believe in "final" product. If that was the case, there would be just 1 bios and we would stay with it for ever! For me all software is beta

Hello X570-E owners, i'm new here but was reading your posts since weeks/months. I just joined to put my experience with the new Bioses with you. I own a 3900X with the x570-E. I flashed every bios so far, also the ones that disappeared after some days. So far i barely had problems, but the 2802 is really bullying my cpu or mobo. If i put PBO Enhancer on, i get random crashes, like 30 Secs after boot, doesnt matter what i do. If i try to start a game (e.g. BFV) i even get a bluescreen 😄 A mate of mine, with the exact same setup has NO bluescreens or random crashes. So i am pretty sure my CPU just cant take the high spikes 😄

Not sure if i should flash the BETA bios, since all is working fine with PBO Enhancer disabled/auto
I hope there is a new final BIOS coming soon.

My issue is with 3700X and may be CPU don't matter. Just will try the BETA BIOS 🙂 But as SPEED of produce AGESA in 3 days 1.1.0.0 patch B and C I believe, that also the problem may be is on AMD side 😉

With BETA BIOS 2812 have same issues as for now will skip this BIOS till we don't understand what caused the issues.

I have a 3700X too, but I'm running with the bios 2407 and a small undervolt in cpu without any problem.
One problem I have when I first updated the bios was when I tried to load the old settings into the new bios. Only after I update the values from scratch into the new bios that my system was stable again.

One thing that annoys me is the chipset temperature staying around 61/62ºC at 2580RPM. I already moved my video card to the lower slot (a gigabyte 1060), so it would not be over the chipset vent, replaced the thermal pad and used a small cooper fin like this to make a better contact with the heatsink https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/32588191919.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.6eb6b90aR02GWZ and it lower the temperature about 4, 5ºC (originally it was around 66/68ºC), but I still think it is too high.

What is the chipset temperatures you are getting in this motherboard and what the RPM in the chipset cooler?

Hello, my temps are ok on chipset around 35-40 as CPU on idle.

Here is how I produce restart on beta 2812, I do two manual sleeps, then restart PC and on next login my PC resets as on 2802.
It seems on sleep reset was fixed. I believe now the problem is on Asus side, not the AMD. Still for me 2606 BIOS is best at the moment.
From Asus support advise me to wait for stable BIOS after 2812 and should be OK.

Thats for now from me with new 2802 or 2812 😕
