I'm having trouble with the new motherboard (asus), because if I put my sound card (Audigy Rx) in any of the pci-e 1x slot, my pc won't start, it shuts down immediately. I have to press to the power button two or three times to get it to start. If the pc start and windows is running, then is no problem with the sound card and the pc is stable. I checked there are no loose connections, also tired to remove the vga but the error is the same.
Without the soundcard I do not experience this error (pc start immediately) but i used this card in a Msi Z390 for years without any problems..
Is it possible that the card is causing a short circuit --> and the pc does not due to high power consumption?
Or can the pci-e 1x slot be faulty?
