Asus Crosshair VIII Hero, latest bios, windows boot issue

Hi,

I've been having boot issues with the latest bioses, the fix was to run really low DDR/if speeds, like 2666/1333 (have 2 memory kits that are both DDR3600, both 100% working fine, tested with older bioses and different motherboard/cpu)

when I try DOCP windows fails to boot, get the rotating dots but when it initializes the USB devices/switches to logon screen it will crash and boot back to bios.

So I tried to disconnect all usb devices and then the machine boots fine and seems stabel!?

I've verified this,
boot with usb devices (focusrite scarlett usb audio card and usb hub with f.ex xbox wireless controller, sd card reader, bluetooth dongle) windows boot fails
disconnect usb devices except keyboard and mouse = windows boots fine

I reformatted the and reinstalled windows, same issue

Any1 else seen this behavious? think its bios issue? cpu fail? (its a new 5900x)

In case anyone else has this problem, I was able to fix it by doing the following.

1. Hold Shfit while clicking restart in Windows 10
2. On startup smash the heck out of the Del key

That was it. Once in BIOS I was able to change settings to slow down the post and turned off fast boot.
Really just holding shift will do it though.

This bios is completely broken for me, random reboots at idle, os corruption and numerous whea errors per minute.

Also lower performance than 2502 and 2702.

Went back to 2702 and no issues with a 5900x, ram and pbo overclocks working great.

Just a follow up if anyone stumbles upon this thread, since I'm the OP, and issues are fixed now

- USB issues, were all related to PCIe 4.0, now fixed with the latest bios from AMD/ASUS
- Memory issues were caused by 2 weak cores on my 5900x, giving those 2 cores a positve +5 curve in curve optimizer fixed all my memory/stability issues, running memory now at DDR3800 @ 14-14-14-28 1.48V, memory kit is Team Group 32GB (2X16GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C16 3600MHz (TDPPD432G3600HC16GDC01)

This is really frustrating, i just built my 5950x build with the rog crosshair viii hero and gskill rgb 3600, and i cannot post with any external hard drives connected to the system, the code just gets stuck on the b4 code.
Also if i restart to try to get ride of the b4, i get a 23 code and have to restart the pc and clear cmos. If i unplug the external drives the pc will post and boot into windows. I have installed the newest bios (as of 4/2) but no luck, i still suspect a bios issue, is there a way to disable the bios from checking usb drives while booting? Or is this still a bug? I need access to my drives for my work
