Any Headstart for OCing r7 1700x and Flare X 3200 (2x8) l Suggestions

so, apperently my mobo's Ram slots not working !

So i should wait another week minimum or 3 weeks on top for return !

as far as flare-x ram, you should be able to just use DOCP standard or manually set it to 3200 mhz with the timing
14-14-14-34 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS)

as far as overclock, I can just set multiplier to 40 and leave everything else auto to achieve 4Ghz
But I personally still waiting for more stable BIOS and slowly reading pstate oc.
So I just chill with 38-39 multiplier and sometimes just go back to auto so I dont have to deal with cold boot.

docp is a starting point, once you set docp, you can adjust the multiplier for cpu clock and cpu voltage.
I didn't check about blck thouhg.

but ya if you want more control, just go with manual setting.

i liked oc tuner in my p8z77v-lx . it did everything by itself.

i wish c6h would have smth like that.

so. 3900-3800 is a nice starting point.

I am on 3200 mhz 14-14-14 on 2x8 Flare X (also tried 3333 and 3466 mhz with success - bot cold boot was a pain so didnt want to fidle any more with the settings)

My 1700X is running 4100 Mhz on 1.373 V

as for with latest 1501 bios, I can manage multiplier @ 38, 39, 40 and have they run stable
issue with boot/restart still happen, just less frequent.
And it will somttimes stuck @ qcode 06, 0e, 0d for me.
That's why I just opt for default with auto during workday and play with it during free time.

I managed 3466MHz CL14 memory, I currently have 4.025GHz on a 1700x with 1.400v. Although I think I can push the CPU clock higher, just need some time to play with it.

The guide mentioned above is actually quite easy to follow, I used it to get memory running 3466.

is it stable? what's your temps? do you enable sense mi skew?
