Ryujin keeps connecting and disconnecting and causes Hardware chimes

Crasje

Hello,

Sometimes my PC starts hardware chiming for a minute +

When I look in Device Manager I found in the section Human Interface Devices an USB Input Device with a yellow exclamation mark. If I look at this device it gives me a code 10 (this device cannot start).

This is the device: Device USB\VID_0B05&PID_18AE\207E337C4B52, this is the Ryujin according to my Google search.

Any suggestions what to do anyone?

Hi @Crasje ,

based on your issue, may I ask could you provide the screenshot that shows the error messege?

Have you make sure that your device firmware is at the latest version?

Whether the cooler can operate normally?

When did the issue occur? Have you make any change or update anything then the issue occur?

Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for respons. See the screenshots from the device manager.

Running Armoury crate 5.6.10.0, it holds no updates for any of my ROG hardware.

The cooler runs normally. I have had this issue for a while, removing reinstalling did not solve it. I also had that my PC sometimes hardware chimes and I could not figure out why. I finally found out that it is the USB from the Ryujin that was causing it.

Currently the Ryujin is also not visible in AURA or in the Device list. FanXpert is visible and working.

I have been fighting with AURA, my motherboard and Ryujin for a while but only recently connected the Ryujin to the hardware chimes. Sometimes when I reboot, or when I turn off my pc completely, it will work again but never for very long. I hope you have any suggestions for me on how to tackle this.

Robert
