Ryujin 3 extreme without armory crate or the USB from the screen plugged in

Is it possible to use the ryujin 3 extreme with just bios controls for the pump and fans? I know the vrm fan is tied to the pump rpm this way correct? If I don't hook up the USB from the screen it will also just display the default right but otherwise I can control the fans and pump via the BIOS this way and never use armory crate? Is there any workaround to gain control of the vrm fan this way or nah? Thanks for all your help replying to this for me

I don't think anyone has ever tried this without Armoury Crate.
You can only test and try it yourself.
The AiO's display and the VRM fan are controlled via the USB port.
Can't you see the AiO's VRM fan in the BIOS?
If you can't control it there or don't see it, you can only test other control tools, such as FanControl, to see if they can control the VRM fan.

In principle, however, this AiO is designed to use Armoury Crate, since it seems to be where the drivers for the control come from.

Especially since, as far as I know, it's the only way to get and install firmware updates for the AiO.
