Ryujin 2 360 - Temp display TZ00

ROMACT
Level 7

Good morning,

Everything was going well so far with Ryujin 2 360, after uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of the Armoury Crate application, the temperature of the liquid is no longer indicated, a probe is called TZ00 but is frozen on value 27 , 7 °. Previously the probe corresponding to the liquid was otherwise called but it is no longer found.
Does ASUS support know this problem?

Regards,

Hello, @ROMACT

Could you please clarify if the issue you described occurred after reinstalling Armoury Crate?
Apart from the mentioned problem, are the fans and other functionalities operating normally?
Can the display freeze issue on the ROG RYUJIN II 360 be ruled out by uninstalling Armoury Crate?
Please provide the brand and model of the current motherboard, BIOS version, and related settings.
As well as sharing screenshots of the Armoury Crate update center and any error messages (if any), along with a detailed video documenting the issue, including temperature freezes or any other anomalies.

Thank you.

Hello, Jiaszzz_ROG,

I will summarize, following the last update of the Asus Framework Service for the ROG RYUJIN II, the probes no longer work.
The sensor corresponding to the temperature of the liquid is no longer present.
We can see a sensor named TZ00 but we do not know what it is and only displays the value 27.7 and does not change.
This problem occurred after updating the RYUJIN II Framework in the Armory Crate program.
Reinstalling Windows does not fix it. After the installation of Windows and then of Armory Crate, the update of the RYUJIN II Framework is mandatory to go to the settings of this one and the sensors.
My motherboard is not in question, it worked very well until now without any action on my part except updating the RYUJIN II framework.
Just give it a try and you'll see the problem with the sensors.
Here are pictures of the problem.
Thank you for transmitting this problem, the use of the RYUJIN II has become obsolete for me.
Thank you so much.

Hello, @ROMACT

Please refer to the Installation of ROG RYUJIN II series AIO water cooling and the user manual for ROG RYUJIN II 360 to verify once again if all relevant connections have been correctly established. This includes checking the 9-pin USB 2.0 cable connected to the motherboard.
If the connections are confirmed to be correct and after restarting the system, the temperature on the monitor still remains at 27.7 without any changes, could you please assist in recording and providing the relevant logs?
To understand the steps for logging operations, kindly consult "Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)"
Upon recording the log, please upload it to a cloud storage service, approve access, and PM me the link.
If possible, please record a comprehensive video documenting the issue, which encompasses the entire process from booting up, the LCD temperature display lighting up upon water cooling, and operating the computer under various loads while the temperature consistently remains at 27.7 degrees.

Thank you.

Hello Jiaszzz_ROG,

What can I say more, you have the screenshots, this problem has been mentioned twice on the Internet according to my research.

Ex : https://forums.evga.com/Z690-Dark-Kingpin-temperature-TZ00-m3560779.aspx

At the start of the PC everything happens normally, except that the probe which was called "liquid" before "is no longer visible and a probe is now called TZ00 and remains frozen on value 27,7, I don't know why the name of temperature have changed while it worked very well since the installation of my PC with the Ryujin 2 and my Z790 motherboard Aorus Master.
What I think is the problem is the last update of the framework, if you can provide me with the old version of the framework, I could prove it to you.
