ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 - Firmware 1.0.9 - the selected firmware file is incorrect

LoNy

Hi,

I tried to install the new 1.0.9 firmware, but when I attempt to install the .zip file, the ASUS Hub shows the message: “The selected firmware file is incorrect.”
I think ASUS might have compiled the data incorrectly.

Regards

I found the solution — but Asus made a mistake. You have to rename the downloaded file ROG_RYUO_IV_SLC_360_ARGB_Serie_FW_1.0.9.zip from the website to ROG RYUO IV Series Firmware File.zip. After that, it works.

Hi @LoNy @KMiland @ROGoades49n3dqp @DodgeSenpai @yuron_first ,

Regarding the firmware update issue you previously reported, our team has identified the cause and implemented a fix.
Please visit the ASUS official website to download and install the latest firmware to confirm if the issue has been resolved.

Please also note that the new firmware requires ASUS InfoHub v0.7.4 to function properly.
You can find it under Driver & Tools > Software and Utility on the official website:

🔸 ASUS InfoHub Software ROG RYUO IV v0.7.4 for Windows 10/11 64-bit

After completing the update, please try performing the firmware upgrade again and confirm if it succeeds.
If any issues persist, kindly provide screenshots or error messages for further analysis.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

I’m trying to do the same thing and getting the same error. It’s quite annoying for the price of the product to be honest. It’s urgent for the update because my Monitor doesn’t go to sleep and apparently this update fixes that

I’m getting sick of their one email reply every day and always asking to do the crap Survey it’s really annoying. I’m not sure if you all have the problem that you monitor isn’t going to sleep because of the firmware update not happening

Have you already switched it off under Settings in the Info Hub? I have no issues with that in version 1.0.8

Which survey are you referring to? Could you share a screenshot? (just partial is fine)

Hi,

as described at the beginning, the uploaded file was compiled incorrectly. It cannot be read into Asus Info Hub.
