Hi,
I tried to install the new 1.0.9 firmware, but when I attempt to install the .zip file, the ASUS Hub shows the message: “The selected firmware file is incorrect.”
I think ASUS might have compiled the data incorrectly.

Hello,
Please follow the steps below to verify the update process:
Do not use the “ROG RYUO IV Series Firmware File” from the BIOS/Firmware section of the ASUS support page for now.
Instead, please install the ASUS InfoHub Software ROG RYUO IV v0.7.3 for Windows 10/11 64-bit from the official website.
After installation, open ASUS InfoHub Software and follow the steps below:
Go to the main interface and click Settings.
Scroll down to find Firmware Version, then click Browse.
When prompted, select the downloaded FW file to start the update process.
When prompted, select the FW file you have and proceed with the update.
After completing the process, please check whether the firmware updates successfully.
If the update fails, kindly provide the error message or a screenshot for our reference.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Hi,
That doesn’t work. I’m already using version 0.7.3. You click on "Check for Update", then the URL opens. You go to Firmware and download the file. After that, I click on Browse, select the file, and the error occurs. The file isn’t compiled correctly — you need to repack it again.

Also, there is no other way to download the software other than the official site. I don’t know what he’s going on about there.

I found the solution — but Asus made a mistake. You have to rename the downloaded file ROG_RYUO_IV_SLC_360_ARGB_Serie_FW_1.0.9.zip from the website to ROG RYUO IV Series Firmware File.zip. After that, it works.
