Hi, I installed this cooler yesterday on an X870e Hero — everything went fine. I installed Asus Info Hub 0.7.4 and it worked perfectly, the display was correctly detected. Then I updated the firmware through the app, downloading version 1.0.9 from the website. The update installed without any errors and at first everything seemed to work fine.
In Device Manager, I can see “ADB Interface,” but the problem is that after shutting down the PC, neither Armoury Crate nor Asus Info Hub detect the display anymore. The default animation runs, but the software shows “not connected.” I can’t control anything anymore. I’ve already tried reinstalling both pieces of software, but it still doesn’t work — the display is no longer detected.
Is there any solution, or should I request a replacement (RMA)?
Thanks Valentino

I had already tried reinstalling Crate and Info Hub but without success. After several attempts, I had to format the system and try installing the drivers individually. I may have identified an issue after installing the Corsair iCUE software. I adjusted the installation sequence of drivers and software to find a working combination, and after several tries, it is now working.

Hi, I’m currently away from home for work and I don’t have access to Discord. In the meantime, I’ll try to explain everything to you. iCUE is Corsair’s software for managing RGB lighting; you use it if you have Corsair fans or accessories to control. To find the correct installation sequence that actually worked, I had to go by trial and error because after some installations the display kept showing “not connected”. The sequence that worked for me was the following:
1- Install all the basic motherboard drivers (Chipset, WAN, Bluetooth, etc.)
2- Install the graphics card drivers
3- Install iCUE (if you don’t have Corsair hardware, don’t bother)
4- Install Armoury Crate + Updates
5- Install Info Hub
With these steps, for now the display is still working.

It’s very strange if it never works even after formatting. So, on a clean system, if you install only Info Hub, does it always give you the message 'not connected'?
Another test you could try is connecting the display to a laptop using, for example, an adapter like the one I attached in the photo, just to see if the display works with another PC. I also connected it to a laptop as my first test, and after installing Info Hub I saw that it worked, so I understood that it wasn’t a hardware failure.
