ROG Ryujin III WB not displaying liquid temp or fan speed

I have been troubleshooting my ROG Ryujin III WB (Black) for quite a few days now and cannot get the LCD to display the liquid temperature or the CPU FAN SPEED.

I have the latest version of Armoury Crate (6.1.18.0) and all my drivers are updated.

CPU FAN: I have confirmed in Armoury Crate that the CPU FAN does spin up, however, the LCD screen does not register the fan speed.

Liquid Temp: My pump is working just fine, but my liquid temperature has never displayed on the LCD. All other temperatures are pulling correctly.

As a side note because I am not sure if its related, Armoury Crate seems to have issues with recognizing my devices in Aura Sync every few re-starts.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Hi @cmoney ,

to help us cocnfirm the issue you're currently experiencing, we kindly ask you to confirm the following points:

  1. Has this problem persisted since you first purchased the device?
  2. Have you attempted to re-plug and reinstall the device to ensure a stable connection?
  3. Have you confirmed that the device's firmware has been updated to the latest version?
  4. We recommend using the Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool to completely uninstall, and then reinstall the Armoury Crate software to see if the issue is resolved.
  5. Can the device be correctly identified in the Armoury Crate devices list? After enabling Aura Sync, can the lighting be properly synchronized?

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please provide the Armoury Crate log files for our reference, so we can conduct further analysis.

The log files contain detailed information about the software's operation, which can help our backend team identify the issue.
Please ensure that the logs accurately capture the moment the issue occurs. (Please enable logging, perform the problematic operation once, and then package the logs.)
Here are the steps to collect Armoury Crate log files: Please refer to Q5: What is APP Diagnostics? https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
After completing the above steps, please upload the collected log files and provide the link along with the approximate time and method of operation via private messege for our analysis.
Also, please provide your product serial number.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Hello @Aureliannn_ROG ,

  1. Has this problem persisted since you first purchased the device?
    • Yes. I purchased it in April/May of this year.
  2. Have you attempted to re-plug and reinstall the device to ensure a stable connection?
    • Yes. I have confirmed the header locations for fan and USB connection on the Motherboard.
  3. Have you confirmed that the device's firmware has been updated to the latest version?
    • Yes, this was updated through Armoury Crate after installation.
  4. We recommend using the Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool to completely uninstall, and then reinstall the Armoury Crate software to see if the issue is resolved.
    • I successfully uninstalled Armoury Crate via the uninstall tool. However, upon trying to re-install, i am getting Error Code: 4102. I have tried several times going back and forth between uninstall and re-install and am getting the same error. I have limited the installation to just Armoury Crate for now, and am still receiving the error message.
    • Update: I tried one more time and got it to install completely.
  5. Can the device be correctly identified in the Armoury Crate devices list? After enabling Aura Sync, can the lighting be properly synchronized?
    • It did originally. This is how I was able to change the LCD to display my CPU temperature. Now, I am unable to re-install Armoury Crate.
    • Update: I was able to complete the installation. All devices (Motherboard, GPU, Memory, and Pump) were all identified and lighting can be synchronized.

I have gone through the various updates in the update center. These include the GPU, ROG Ryujin WB, ASUS HAL Central, MOBO, etc. I have ensured the ROG has the latest firmware and updated where needed. With that, I am still unable to get the liquid temperature to display on the LCD of the ROG RYUJIN. I will send you the log file.
