ASUS ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 ARGB – Screen restarts every ~5 minutes showing ASUS logo

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased an ASUS ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 ARGB. The AIO works perfectly in terms of cooling — temperatures are normal, and both the pump and fans operate smoothly.

However, I’ve noticed a strange issue with the pump display: about every 5 minutes, the screen seems to restart — it briefly shows the ASUS ROG logo for 1–2 seconds and then returns to my custom GIF as if nothing happened.

The cooling performance doesn’t seem affected, but I’m wondering if this is normal behavior (maybe some kind of firmware refresh or USB reconnection) or a sign that the AIO might be malfunctioning.

I also have a video showing the issue, in case it helps.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I’m having the same issue. Everything else works fine and I’m running the latest firmware, so I assumed it was normal, but maybe it’s not.

I’m testing it now with the repeat and shuffle functions on to see if it still happens.

Be interesting to see if were not the only ones.

If you find something plz tell me..

Hello, I'm currently experiencing the same symptoms. Have you found a solution?

No,I haven’t found any solution yet.It still continues to operate this way. I hope it’s normaλ.In another forum I read that it might actually be a built-in feature to prevent screen burn-in, so maybe it’s expected behavior.

Mines still the same, must be how they are as it doesn't seem to be effecting its performance.

Just got the Hatsune Miku edition and updated to the latest firmware and I am also experiencing this issue.

In another forum I read that it might actually be a built-in feature to prevent screen burn-in, so maybe it’s expected behavior.Who knows!

I also contacted the importer who imported this product, and they explained that this feature was intended to prevent LCD screen burn-in. However, this is strange. If this were a built-in burn-in prevention technology, then all users should experience the same symptoms, but only a select few are experiencing it.

I also asked other users of this product, and they said they weren't experiencing the LCD screen restart issue.
They suspected I had received a defective product.
I tried several things to resolve this issue.
I thought the motherboard's USB 2.0 port was underpowered, so I purchased a USB hub that supplied SATA power from the PSU and connected it, but that didn't work.
I thought the GIF file size might be too large, so I reduced the GIF file size to 1MB, but that also didn't work.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the ASUS INFO HUB, but that also didn't work.
I updated the firmware, but the issue didn't go away.
Why is this issue only affecting some users?

If everyone were experiencing this issue, I'd understand. However, since it's only affecting a select few like me, I'm frustrated and wonder if I've received a defective product.
