My PC: ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero + Ryzen 9 9950X3D + ASUS ROG RYUJIN 360 III ARGB Extreme + ASUS ROG Helios.
The ASUS ROG RYUJIN 360 III ARGB Extreme liquid cooling system comes with 2 cables. Each of these 2 cables has a connector on one side for plugging into a fan, and on the other side, connectors for plugging into the motherboard (ARGB and 4-pin power connectors). According to the instructions, only one cable should be used (either the connector on the left fan or the connector on the right fan).
The problem is that the lighting on the motherboard (MB) and RYUJIN doesn't work in the BIOS and until Windows loads. After Windows loads, the lighting works on all devices. If I disconnect the RYUJIN from the ARGB, the lighting on the motherboard starts working immediately upon startup.
I checked the contacts on the fans and found that on one of the fans, the signal received at the input of the fan does not reach the output. Out of 8 contacts, the signal is interrupted on 2 contacts. Is this normal? I checked the other two fans - all contacts were working. After reconnecting (swapping the fans), I found that now on all fans, the signal is interrupted on 2 contacts.
The seller refuses to replace the item and asks me to connect both connectors from the fans to the power and ARGB on the motherboard, which is prohibited by the instructions. What should I do?

Hi @Vuvuzela ,
Regarding your ROG RYUJIN III 360 ARGB Extreme, please note that this cooler itself does not have built-in lighting effects control — lighting is managed via external devices.
If you would like to sync the fan lighting effects, we recommend selecting Addressable Headers in Armoury Crate, then checking whether the sync works correctly across your devices.
Additionally, please be aware that during system startup — before Windows loads and AURA Service takes control — devices will display their default lighting effects:
Thank you!
