Asus AIO Rog LC III 240 Issue with fan adjustment

Bendik1301

Hey.

Last week I got my new Asus AIO Rog LC III 240. Immediately on startup I downloaded ACrate eager to try out the fan speed. Upon opening and registering it I only find options for colour editing and nothing else, find nothing else on my motherboard either. Contacted customer support to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions to how to be able to control fan speeds without doing so in BIOS? Have reinstalled ACrate probably 4 times now, tried everything I can think off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only thing that I have yet to try could be that CPU_FAN is set to ignore due to issues with my previous AIO. UPDATE: Nope, still no option to adjust/registering the fans.

Cheers.

Hi @Bendik1301 ,

Thank you for your inquiry.

To better understand the Armoury Crate software fan control issue you are experiencing, please provide us with the following information:

  1. Device confirmation: Can you see the "ASUS ROG LC III 240 All-in-one Liquid Cooler" device in the Armoury Crate software?
  2. Problem start time: Did the issue of not being able to adjust the fan speed occur immediately after installing the Armoury Crate software?
  3. Auto-tuning test: In the "Fan Control" option of the Armoury Crate software, please click the "Auto Tuning" function in the upper right corner. After completing the fan auto-tuning, please confirm whether the fan control function can be used normally.
  4. Screenshot and log provision: If the problem persists after completing the auto-tuning, please provide a screenshot of the "Fan Control" page and the Armoury Crate software log files for our further analysis.

The log files contain detailed information about the software's operation, which can help our backend team identify the issue.
Please ensure that the logs accurately capture the moment the issue occurs. (Please enable logging, perform the problematic operation once, and then package the logs.)
Here are the steps to collect Armoury Crate log files: Please refer to Q5: What is APP Diagnostics? https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
After completing the above steps, please upload the collected log files to a cloud storage service and provide the link along with the approximate time and method of operation via private messege for our analysis.
Also, please provide your product serial number.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
