Armoury Crate - Fan Xpert 4 is causing the FAN to act strangely (ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB)

Please help me. When I executed auto tuning of CPU fan with Fan Xpert 4, the 120x3 fan (ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB) controllable range became chaotic as shown in the attached image, and the fan is now running at maximum speed all the time.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Is there any solution?

Hi @rya_dokie

Please submit a bug report here, be sure to explain the problem as clearly as possible and provide a log file where the behaviour occurs.

Check to see if Auto Tuning in Q-FAN from within the UEFI exhibits the same behaviour.

Hi @Silent_Scone ,

Thanks for reply. I reported in the thread and submitted a google form.

This issue has started happening recently. Strangely, even setting it in Q-fan setting of UEFI keeps the fan at maximum speed.

Can you confirm which motherboard, and what fans? Please also confirm which headers each fan is plugged into

The motherboard is ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO, and CPU fan is ROG Ryujin iii 360 ARGB. That is connected to CPU_FAN, and AIO_PUMP.   I just retuned it, and the result is as shown in the image. I have no idea what's going on anymore.

As per the manual, is the 9-pin USB 2.0 connector plugged in? Can you confirm what you are plugging into the AIO_Pump header?

A 4-pin micro fan integrated with an LCD is connected to the AIO_PUMP (page 18 of the manual). The USB 2.0 connector is also connected to the motherboard. A 4-pin 120x3 fan is connected to the CPU_FAN (page 27 of the manual).

Just now, I changed the connections (micro fan integrated with an LCD is connected to CPU_FAN, 120x3 fan is connected to Chassis FAN_4), but the situation didn't change. It's curious.

I've moved the topic to ROG Care as I'm starting to suspect some unexpected behaviour. Hopefully one of the customer service team can provide some assistance.
